Aleksandr Lukashenko makes working trip to Gomel Oblast

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko made a working trip to Chechersk District, Gomel Oblast on 26 June.

The trip took place after the session held on 10 June to discuss draft decrees regarding the improvement of the agrarian policy.

The head of state visited companies Otor and Zvezda which have recently posted a big increase in the output of milk.

The Belarusian President emphasized importance of creating conditions for farmers to be able to sell milk to those, who offer the best price. The head of state also reminded the Gomel Oblast administration and the Agriculture and Food Ministry about his instruction to create effective mechanisms for pinpoint support of successful agricultural enterprises. The Ministry was instructed to accelerate the creation of a special fund that provides for returning borrowed funds within eight years at most. “We will give money to those, who will be able to repay it,” the head of state emphasized.
