Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of European RG Championships
President of Belarus, President of the National Olympic Committee Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 31st European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.
“Minsk hosts a large-scale sport event – the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships – which has brought together the best athletes. The holding of a sport event of this level is another testimony of the authority of the Belarusian rhythmic gymnastics school which is rich in famous names and victories,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that in recent years Belarus often hosts the most prestigious international competitions in various sports. The participants have a good opportunity to learn more about the country and find friends.
“I am convinced that the championship will present many great moments and will inspire young people to make new sports achievements,” the President emphasized.
