Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to Belarusian rescuers

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel and veterans of Belarusian emergency response bodies who celebrate their professional holiday – Rescuer’s Day.

    “Today the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus is a strong and vigorously developing operational organization which can cope with a wide range of tasks and has a huge potential,” the message of greetings reads. “Belarusian rescuers demonstrate high professionalism in the mitigation of fires, accidents, and consequences of extreme weather, take an active part in humanitarian missions abroad.”

    The head of state remarked that on this day we traditional pay tribute to those who gave their all in the service of their Homeland, whose courage and selflessness helped save the lives of many people. The President expressed special gratitude to the veterans who stood at the roots of the emergency response organization and share their rich experience with the young generation today.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that relying on the glorious traditions the personnel of emergencies bodies will successfully cope with all tasks.
