Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Zhores Alferov

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Noble Prize winner, member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, academician Zhores Alferov.

“Your outstanding professional achievements have made a great contribution to the development of world science. When solving any issues you demonstrate deep understanding of various processes, remarkable experience, life wisdom and integrity,” the felicitation message reads.

The head of state also remarked that Zhores Alferov is doing a lot to support young scientists. “I am convinced that your versatile activities, an active civil position and high international authority will help promote all-round cooperation of Belarus and Russia,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
