Aleksandr Lukashenko extends condolences over death of first prime minister of Singapore
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam, the family and friends of first prime minister of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew, and the people of Singapore over the death of the politician.
“An outstanding politician, great citizen and founder of the Republic of Singapore passed away. His dedication, diligence, acumen and strong will laid a solid foundation for the dynamic and all-round development of Singapore. The experience of Lee Kuan Yew in building a strong state in the best interests of the nation is an example and a guideline for many countries. I am convinced that the Singaporean people will always remember Lee Kuan Yew,” the message of condolences reads.
