Aleksandr Lukashenko approves composition of Belarus’ Security Council

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved the composition of the Belarusian Security Council on 13 January by signing decree No. 7.

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is the Chairman of the Security Council.

    Other members of the Security Council are Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the Supreme Court Valentin Sukalo, Head of the Belarus President Administration Alexander Kosinets, State Secretary of the Security Council Stanislav Zas, Chairman of the State Control Committee Leonid Anfimov, Prosecutor General Alexander Konyuk, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank Pavel Kallaur, Interior Minister Igor Shunevich, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov, Emergencies Minister Vladimir Vashchenko, Chairman of the Investigation Committee Ivan Noskevich, Chairman of the State Security Committee Valery Vakulchik, Chairman of the State Defense Industries Committee Sergei Gurulev, Chairman of the State Border Committee Leonid Maltsev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces – First Deputy Defense Minister Oleg Belokonev, Belarus President’s Aide for National Security Viktor Lukashenko.
