About Br7bn allocated for support of talented students in Belarus in 2015

    About Br7 billion has been earmarked by the special fund of the Belarus President for the social support of talented school and university students from the national budget in 2015. President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the corresponding executive order on 2 April.

    The head of state has also approved the resolution of the council of the special fund of the Belarus President for social support of talented school and university students to award 142 school and university students.

    Money prizes in the amount from Br7.2 million to Br8.1 million and lapel badges of the fund’s laureate are given to 21 winners of the International Collegiate Programming Contest.

    Money prizes are given to 35 winners of the Union State competition for school students “Russia and Belarus: Historical and Spiritual Unity”, three winners of the 2nd International Experimental Physics Olympiad, the winner of the 4th International Contest of Young Analysts, the winner of the 11th International Olympiad in Economic and Financial Despines, Management Issues, and 81 winners of other intellectuals competitions.

    According to the press service, the executive order aims to ensure targeted state support of talented school and university students, create favorable development conditions for them.
