Telephone conversation with Russia President Vladimir Putin

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russia President Vladimir Putin discussed the preparations for the forthcoming events at international venues and in the format of bilateral cooperation by telephone on 7 October.

    Vladimir Putin once again invited the Belarusian head of state to take part in the sessions of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the CIS Council of Heads of State in Sochi on 11 October. Aleksandr Lukashenko confirmed his participation in these international forums and stressed that a high level of coordination between Belarus and Russia often becomes a decisive factor in making conceptual decisions on the development of integration.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed the current state of affairs in the Belarusian-Russian cooperation and the trends in this field.

    Besides, during the telephone conversation the presidents of Belarus and Russia discussed the preparations for the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Minsk which is scheduled for 30 November.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished happy birthday to Vladimir Putin and every success in his state activities.
