Telephone conversation with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva. The telephone conversation took place on the initiative of the Azerbaijani side.

Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva wished the Belarusian head of state Happy Independence Day and congratulated him on the successful delivery of the 2nd European Games. The parties also discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings and the development of relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan in general.
