Greetings to China President Xi Jinping
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent
greetings to China President Xi Jinping as the country celebrates National
Day.
“I am convinced that gradual political and economic transformations that are carried out in the country under your leadership will help improve the living standards of Chinese people and fulfill a dream about the restoration of the great Chinese nation,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state remarked that within 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations Belarus and China have made a real breakthrough at the bilateral level and continue bolstering all-round cooperation, coordinating efforts in the resolution of important tasks on the global agenda, including in the implementation of the Belt and Road strategic concept. “Equal and mutually beneficial cooperation with the People’s Republic of China is a constant priority for the Belarusian state,” the president stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko invited the President of the People’s Republic of China to visit Belarus in 2018. He expressed confidence that this even will give a new powerful impetus to bilateral interaction.
