Greetings to Belarusian emergency response workers

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Belarusian emergency response workers as they celebrate their professional holiday.

“Maintaining a high level of combat readiness, emergency response workers protect the public domain and national interests. Your dangerous work requires incredible courage, perseverance and selflessness,” the head of state noted. “You are always ready to help and support people. Fires and fumes, destroyed buildings and natural disasters cannot stop you.”

The President remarked that the training and skills of Belarusian rescuers are known all over the world. They often extend a helping hand to countries affected by natural disasters or military conflicts. Aleksandr Lukashenko especially thanked veterans of the rescue service. Many of them are now sharing their invaluable experience with young specialists.

“I am convinced that you will continue to fulfill your service duties with dignity in the future as you are committed to protecting the most valuable things – lives and health of our people. I would like to thank you for your service and to wish you every success for the sake of Belarus’ prosperity. I wish all of you strong health, happiness and wellbeing,” the head of state emphasized.
