Condolences over passing of Aleksey Batalov
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed
condolences to the family and friends of Hero of Socialist Labor, People’s
Artist of the USSR Aleksey Batalov in connection with his death.
“His legendary name is connected with the unforgettable pages in the history of the Soviet and Russian cinema. Films with the participation of Aleksey Batalov are by right included in the golden collection of modern culture,” the message of condolences reads.
The head of state remarked that people in Belarus knew and appreciated this great actor as a person with immense talent and a wonderful soul whose creative and teaching activities helped promote moral ideals in the society, strengthen friendship between the fraternal nations.
