Belarusian army officers, government officials promoted
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a number of decrees on 25 February to award army ranks and special ranks.
Colonel Ivan Boguslavsky and Colonel Yuri Shaplavsky have been awarded Major-General rank. Internal Service Colonel Igor Bolotov and Justice Colonel Pavel Ignatov have been promoted to the ranks of Internal Service Major-General and Justice Major-General respectively.
Vitebsk Oblast Prosecutor Vadim Sushchinsky has been promoted to State Councilor of Justice, 3rd class. Head of the Minsk Regional Customs Aleksandr Valiyev has been awarded a personal rank of State Councilor of Customs Service, 3rd class.
