Belarus’ state awards bestowed upon 32 law enforcers

    State awards have been conferred on 32 law enforcement officials in recognition of exemplary service, high professional skills, significant achievements in crime prevention, considerable personal contribution to strengthening public order. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the corresponding decree on 24 September.

    The Order for the Service to the Homeland 3rd Class was bestowed upon head of the main criminal investigation division of the criminal police of the Belarusian Interior Ministry Anatoly Sakovich.

    The achievements of a number of law enforcers were honored with the medal for excellent public order protection. Among them were chief officer of the criminal investigation division of the criminal police of the Mogilev Interior Department Viktor Ignatenko and head of the theft offence division of the criminal police of the Grodno Interior Department Vitaly Salabuda.

    Medals for excellent military service of the 1st, 2nd and 3rdclass were bestowed upon head of the criminal investigation division of the criminal police of the Vitebsk Interior Department Nikolai Latyshev, first deputy head of the Starye Dorogi interior affairs department, head of the criminal police Mikhail Kashko, head of the vehicle business-related crime division of the criminal police of the Brest Interior Department Dmitry Zaitsev.
